Join Our Team

There’s a lot to get done at WISF and we could use some extra hands. Starting in 2026, we’re looking for a number of volunteers to help us across areas such as community management, event and project management, research, and content support.

While these roles are unpaid, they offer the opportunity to be part of an engaged, purposeful team working on issues that matter deeply. From sustainability and innovation to the future of our shared planet.

If you’d like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you. Drop us a note on info@wisfinternational.com

Volunteer Role: Communications

We are seeking a motivated volunteer to support WISF’s communications activities. Key responsibilities include drafting newsletters and LinkedIn posts, creating community and speaker spotlights, managing social media engagement, and developing engaging content to promote events before and after they take place to keep our community connected and inspired. The role also involves maintaining event landing pages with up-to-date information on upcoming sessions, speakers, and registration details. This position is well suited for someone creative, proactive, and passionate about sustainability and women’s empowerment.

Volunteer Role: Community Management

We are looking for a dedicated volunteer to help strengthen engagement across the WISF community. Key tasks include managing the WISF inbox, responding to or assigning incoming inquiries, coordinating communication within the team, and keeping track of community interactions. The role also involves collecting feedback, meeting and greeting at events, identifying inspiring community members for spotlights or panels, and supporting membership management, including renewals and cancellations. Ideal for someone personable, organized, and passionate about building meaningful connections.

Volunteer Role: Events

We are seeking a proactive volunteer to contribute to the planning and execution of WISF’s events. Responsibilities include developing event concepts, defining themes and discussion topics, scouting and coordinating speakers, managing event logistics and guest reception, and collaborating with the communications team on promotional initiatives. The role also offers the opportunity to moderate events and engage directly with speakers. This position is ideal for someone organized, resourceful, and passionate about advancing sustainability and gender equality through dialogue and community engagement.

Volunteer Role: WEF Project Management

We are seeking an organized and dynamic volunteer to support WISF’s participation at the World Economic Forum in Davos. Responsibilities include contributing to the event concept and structure, developing themes and formats, scouting and coordinating speakers, and assisting with communication between speakers, moderators, and partners. The role also covers administrative support such as ticketing, venue coordination, and on-site logistics during the event. This position is perfect for someone detail-oriented, collaborative, and enthusiastic about bringing WISF’s vision to the global stage.

Volunteer Role: Research & Thought Leadership

We are seeking an analytical and creative volunteer to support WISF’s thought leadership initiatives. The role includes defining key research themes, framing and coordinating content production, and scouting contributors within our community. Responsibilities also involve managing the full process from concept to publication—structuring outlines, assigning sections, editing submissions, and ensuring quality and coherence. This position suits someone who enjoys writing, collaboration, and driving intellectual impact in sustainability, finance, and gender equality.
