Veronica Baker

Veronica Baker is a sustainable finance professional specializing in impact investing and nature finance. She is currently Project Manager – Lead Impact Investing and Nature at Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF), where she leads national initiatives that strengthen the role of finance in addressing environmental and social challenges. Veronica has co-authored key industry publications, including A Stocktake of Swiss Impact Investing (2024), and represents SSF in collaborations with organizations such as the UN PRI and the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN).
With a strong background in sustainability strategy, Veronica has organized and moderated high-level discussions on impact measurement, TNFD implementation, and deforestation risk.
Veronica holds an MSc in Climate Change, Sustainable Development & Policy from the Institute of Development Studies (UK) and is completing a Master of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance at the University of Zurich. Bilingual in English and German, she is part of the Women in Sustainable Finance network and is passionate about advancing the integration of nature and impact considerations into mainstream financial markets.
