Veronica Baker

Ambassador

Veronica Baker is a sustainable finance professional specializing in impact investing and nature finance. She is Project Manager – Lead Impact Investing and Nature at Swiss Sustainable Finance (SSF), where she leads national initiatives that strengthen the role of finance in addressing environmental and social challenges. Veronica has co-authored key industry publications, including A Stocktake of Swiss Impact Investing (2024), and represents SSF in collaborations with organizations such as the UN PRI and the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN).
With a strong background in sustainability strategy, Veronica has organized and moderated high-level discussions on impact measurement, TNFD implementation, and deforestation risk.
Veronica holds an MSc in Climate Change, Sustainable Development & Policy from the Institute of Development Studies (UK) and is completing a Master of Advanced Studies in Sustainable Finance at the University of Zurich. Bilingual in English and German, she is part of the Women in Sustainable Finance community as an ambassador.
