Monika has been working in finance since 2016, starting her career in London as a Securities Lending Trader at Deutsche Bank. She later moved to Zurich to join Julius Baer’s Fixed Income Specialists Team before transitioning into sustainable investing—an area close to her heart. As a Sustainable Investment Specialist, she has a strong background in ESG integration, fixed income, and sustainable finance. She is experienced in managing investment frameworks, developing sustainable products, and navigating regulatory requirements. Passionate about driving impactful change, she actively engages in stewardship, stakeholder collaboration, and industry initiatives to advance sustainable investing. She is committed to bridging finance and sustainability to create lasting impact. Beyond her role, Monika serves as a Board Member of Women in Sustainable Finance (WISF), leading events and thought leadership initiatives. She holds degrees from Bocconi University and the University of St. Gallen and is a CFA charterholder with a CFA ESG certification.
