About the Event
WISF is returning to Davos during the World Economic Forum 2027
Everyone in Davos talks about the long term. Very few people in the room manage capital that will outlast their own time in the role.
Foundations, family businesses and steward-owned companies share one condition: the owner cannot exit. Because they have to stay, they have learned how to protect value across generations. And more and more of this capital is managed by women.
During WEF week, WISF brings these owners on stage to debate two questions:
Allocation. What changes in a portfolio when the horizon is generations, not quarters? Patient capital is not charity, and we expect the panel to defend the numbers.
Structure. When does writing purpose into a company's legal structure protect its long-term mission, and when is it a costly way to avoid a hard conversation about governance?
On stage: a foundation steward, an owner-entrepreneur, a long-horizon allocator and an ownership architect. Speakers and moderator will be announced soon.
For family principals and next-generation owners, family offices, wealth planners, foundation investment teams and entrepreneurs approaching succession.
Seats are limited. Registration opens in December.
This session is part of Climate Hub Davos 2027, hosted by the Swiss non-profit GreenUp (www.green-up.ch).
