About the Event

This evening focuses on women and stewardship, and on those in our industry who already practise it. We invite investors, advisors, founders, researchers, and all interested voices to join an interdisciplinary conversation about how women take active ownership and what supports them.

Held in the same week the Zurich Film Festival opens, the event also turns to film — to stories about women and ownership that reach far beyond the screen.

Giving Visibility to Women Stewards

Stewardship is the active side of ownership. How capital is cared for, directed, and used with purpose. Across finance and beyond, women are already practising it, often differently. Yet much of their work goes unseen.

The WISF Community gives visibility to these women by putting those who lead as stewards and owners on stage to speak about how they do it.

What Women Do Differently

When women take ownership, the question often shifts: not how much can be gained, but what the capital or company is for. It shows in how they vote their shares, engage with businesses, and balance the long term against the next quarter.

Together, we’ll look at where the difference is real, where it’s overstated, and what the industry can learn from women who lead with purpose, shaping stewardship as a living practice.

Opportunity and Visibility

Women already hold power. At WISF, we aim to make that power visible by spotlighting those who are shaping how capital is cared for and directed.

The event gives voice and visibility to women who lead as stewards and owners. The great wealth transfer makes the conversation timely, yet our focus remains on those already doing the work: women defining stewardship through action and influence.

What to Expect

An evening of insight and exchange where finance meets storytelling:

• A sneak peek of the Swiss series $HARE, reimagining ownership through a woman’s choice to lead differently

• A panel connecting story and practice

• An honest dialogue on how women lead as stewards and owners.

• A conversation about what women in finance truly need, and space to meet, reflect, and connect across disciplines.

Juliana Barbosa — Founder of B.lief, a Zurich-based stewardship and sustainability consultancy, and an expert on how active ownership turns responsible investment into lasting change. Juliana opens the evening with a keynote.

Katja Meier — Screenwriter, producer and founder of Zenka Films, and creator of $HARE, a series that tells a story of stewardship on screen while she practises it herself as an independent producer.

Silke Tschatsch — Head of Wealth Planning Switzerland & Germany at Julius Baer, where she advises clients on succession and wealth planning and works closely with women clients.

Sabina Schumacher Heinzer — CEO of Tecalto AG, which she has led for over 25 years as the third generation of her family business, a steward of capital in her own right.
