About the Event

In the context of the SDGs, the implementation of the SDG 5 relating to gender equality and women empowerment is lagging, with the gender gap made worse during the pandemic, and the financial industry still struggling to improve its organizational models accordingly. As gender lens investing has gained momentum during the last years, integrating gender-based aspects throughout the investment process has become an essential approach to advance gender equality.

During our webinar, Tim Radjy, chair of the Gender Lens Initiative for Switzerland (GLIS) and managing partner of Alphamundi will give us insights into impact investing and financial products with a gender lens. He will also introduce the GLIS research focusing on the market of gender lens financial products in Switzerland. Finally, we will extend an invitation to our attendees to participate during this research.

Join us on this webinar to learn more about GLIS, how gender lens strategies can foster gender equality, and how you can contribute to it.

Tim Radjy is vice-president at Sustainable Finance Geneva SFG, chair of the GLIS, founder of AlphaMundi Group, and treasurer of AlphaMundi Foundation. Tim previously worked in wealth management and became a founding member of UBS Philanthropy Services for UHNWI clients. He also spent time in Bolivia, assessing microfinance programs on behalf of the Swiss Development Agency, and with WWF International as an advisor on major donors. Tim holds a degree in Political Science from the University of Geneva and a Private Banking diploma.

The Gender Lens Initiative for Switzerland (GLIS) is a working group set up by Sustainable Finance Geneva in March 2021, at the initiative of the AlphaMundi Group Ltd and with the support of Gender Smart. Following the Swiss work in microfinance and impact investing, the country is now embracing the next frontier of financial innovation by positioning itself as a global hub for digital finance and gender lens investing.

Schedule: October 12, from 6 PM to 7 PM CET.
